Join me for what promises to be a fun book launch for my brand new picture book, Dragons Drumming, as we celebrate the end of Chinese Lunar New Year with Chinese Lion dancers and drummers from 1:00pm followed by my book launch at 2:00pm. It will be full of thunderous noise with both body and instrumental percussion, a reading of my book, paper plate dragon craft and yummy cupcakes.
The book looks into childhood fears of thunderstorms and how to overcome them. With the use of alliteration, onomatopoeia, rhythm, rhyme and music the story provides a wonderful imaginative explanation with a family of magical dragons playing percussion in the sky.
To celebrate the 30th Birthday of the National Dinosaur Museum in Canberra, they will be a huge party. I will be reading from Fossil frenzy in the Interactive area throughout the day. There will be plenty of dino-riffic fun including, colouring-in and other dinotastic activities, an hourly Easter egg hunt, birthday cake, face painting and lots of dinosaurs to meet and greet. Come and join in all the roarsome fun. Purchase tickets through the National Dinosaur Museum website, kids get in free!
The inaugural Book Fair Australia is coming to Sydney at Sydney Olympic Park .
There will be a bunch of stalls with fabulous authors and illustrators, including myself. Discussions, book readings and a whole let more. I will be reading from Fossil Frenzy the Adamson Adventures 3, on Saturday 26th November in the Children’s Corner from 13:00 - 13.20, and I will be appearing on the main stage on Sunday 27th November in a panel chat about Kidlit - Engaging stories for curious minds from 14:00 - 14:45. It promises to be a fantastic weekend. Bring the family and immerse yourself in books.

A Share Your Story Anthology launch at The Mad Hatters Bookshop, where everyone will be invited to purchase a copy of the anthology. For every copy sold, another will be donated to sick kids in hospitals all around Australia.

The CBCA National Conference 2019 was held here in Canberra enabling many local children’s authors to attend, including myself. SCBWI ACT were able to share a table and roster the selling and promotion of their books.
